Matthew 2:19-23
In this unassuming text, an unassuming man from a town of ill repute is shown to be the King who would suffer on behalf of His people. The King is shown to be the shoot off of the stump Jesse that would one day grow to be a mighty tree bearing much fruit. This King is truly set apart for a wondrous purpose, which is to save His people from their sin!
